What are the active ingredients in Petthrive?

Petthrive Soft Chews contain five active ingredients:

• Resveratrol supports mobility and joint health by promoting a healthy inflammatory response in dogs.
  
  
• Hyaluronic acid builds and maintains healthy cartilage tissue and synovial fluid.
  
  
• Glucosamine hydrochloride promotes the formation of joint-cushioning collagen within cartilage tissue.
  
  
• Chondroitin sulfate causes cartilage tissue to absorb the appropriate amount of water and helps build new cartilage tissue.
  
  
• Natural Vitamin E supports healthy free radical levels in dogs.

Is Petthrive hypoallergenic?

Yes, Petthrive is corn, wheat, and soy free.

Wait...I thought grapes were toxic to dogs, and resveratrol comes from grapes, so how is this safe? 

While resveratrol is contained in some grape skins, it is also found in many other plants that pose no health risks to dogs or other animals. The resveratrol used in Petthrive is not extracted from grape products. 

How long will it take for me to see changes in my dog?

Users typically report a noticeable difference in their dog within two to three weeks of daily Petthrive feeding. 

Do I need a veterinary prescription to purchase Petthrive?

While many veterinarians recommend Petthrive, our products are available without a prescription.

Are there any side effects associated with Petthrive use?

There are no known side effects with the use of Petthrive products.

Are there any contraindications with Petthrive products and other medications?

Petthrive Soft Chews are not known to interfere with the absorption of other medications or to reduce the effectiveness of other medications. There are no known contraindications for the use of Petthrive Soft Chews.

Can Petthrive products be used during my dog's pregnancy?

Formal studies have not been performed to evaluate the safety of Petthrive use in dogs during pregnancy. Dog owners use Petthrive products in pregnant dogs at their own risk.

Are Petthrive products palatable to dogs?

Petthrive Soft Chews contain natural bacon flavor and are extremely palatable for dogs.

How do I know which Petthrive product is right for my dog?

Petthrive Soft Chews are available in two sizes.  Choose the appropriate product for your dog based on the weight of your dog. Dogs less than 60 lbs should receive Petthrive Soft Chews and dogs 60 lbs or greater should be administered Petthrive Soft Chews for Large Dogs.  

How many Petthrive Soft Chews do I give my dog a day?

The exact feeding amount for your dog’s weight can be found on the label, as follows:

Dogs 10-19 lbs: feed 1 chew per day.

Dogs 20-39 lbs: feed 2 chews per day.

Dogs 40-59 lbs: feed 3 chews per day.

Dogs 60-89 lbs: feed 3-4 chews per day.

Dogs 90 lbs and up: feed 4 chews per day.

Do I feed my dog Petthrive Soft Chews by itself or with a meal?

Petthrive Soft Chews can be fed by itself or with a regular meal, whichever is most convenient for you.

My dog should get two Petthrive Soft Chews a day. Does it matter if I feed my dog the soft chews all at once as spread out his chews?

Ideally Petthrive Soft Chews are fed more than once per day. If convenient, divide your dog's daily amount of Petthrive Soft chews into two daily feedings.
